Through the Shattered GlassThis was bad, this was bad! Three human youths pound their feet as the run through a nightmarish landscape that was, perhaps once upon a time, their home of Jasper, Nevada. They weren't sure as to how they got here, something must have caused the ground bridge to become unstable. Suddenly the lone female of the group darts behind some rubble, then grabs and pull the tallest male, who in turn grabs their youngest member. At last, a chance to catch their breathe and clear their lungs of smoke. They cough heavily then breathe through either sleeves or collars.
“W-where are we?” Rafael whimpers in fear.
Miko answers sarcastically, “Jasper, Nevada. Welcome to Hell on Earth! Enjoy your stay.”
“Miko!” Jack snarls at her looking out from their hiding place. This was wrong, this wasn't the Jasper they knew. Raf's idea of going to a different dimensional seems more logical by the second, more so after crossing what they thought was a

King Candy was driving his kart at high speed over the roads of Sugar Rush. He needed to let off some steam after what happened at the beginning of the Random Roster Race that day. First that glitch Vanellope showed up and actually managed to enroll herself in the race. Next that big gorilla Wreck-it-Ralph came out of nowhere and destroyed half of the stands. But at least he managed to get that big oaf to leave the game. That is what he told those donut cops to do.
But that glitch! That glitch was becoming a real pain.
Pressing his foot further down on the gas pedal made the engine of his kart roar even louder. The wheels spun rapidly, kicking up sugar dust.
It felt good to be able to race. The world is a blur as it all speeds by in a flash. It is just you and the kart. He was the best and he was not going to let that little imp of a glit
Wreck-it-Ralph Fanfiction - Code FatigueMorning in Sugar Rush. Today was going to be a rather unusual day. In a rare occasion, Litwak had decided to take a day off and keep the arcade closed for a day. This provided everybody with an unexpected (but otherwise still highly appreciated) day off.
Taking advantage of that situation was King Candy, who had decided that this morning was a great morning to just stay in bed. It would not come as a surprise to anyone why King Candy preferred to take a long rest, though. It was not long ago when his impostor Turbo was defeated and disappeared out of Sugar Rush. He himself had been locked up in the fungeon all this time and now, after fifteen years, he could finally be king again. Being reinstated as the rightful ruler and being reunited with his beloved daughter Vanellope were two of the most joyous things that happened in a long while.
All of this had made the king tired however. Very tired. His bed seemed like the coziest place in the world right now. He turned over onto his other s

How could it have come to this?
That is what Vanellope von Schweetz wondered as she looked at the stasis pod. Its bright green light reflected in her eyes. She knew it was not possible, but somewhere she was hoping he would wake up and look back at her, just to let her know he would be alright. But no, he simply floated there in the small cabinet. Motionless and soundless in a deep sleep. His arms and legs dangled, with bits and pieces of shredded pixels and data crackling and buzzing all around him.
Her father, King Candy, was in grave danger.
It all started as a normal day. After the arcade closed, the two of them went to Hero’s Duty. To celebrate the game’s recent plug-in, a festive opening was held and Sugar Rush’s royalty had received VIP invitations.
It was not the pilot’s fault. Malfun

“You won’t get away with this, pipsqueak!”
Ralph’s angry voice echoed through the empty castle. Everyone had evacuated the game now that the Cy-bugs were running amok and destroying everything. All alone without anyone to protect him, King Candy was running through the hallways as fast as his legs could carry him.
“Oh drat, I need a place to hide!”
Today had not been a great day for him. Not only did those bugs show up to devour his kingdom, but that glitch Vanellope unmasked him as the no-longer-rightful ruler of Sugar Rush. His secret identity as Turbo had been revealed for everyone to see. Sure, it was in fact Vanellope who was supposed to run everything here. But this plan was working so perfectly, there was no way it could have failed. And now he was running for his life from Ralph, who was he
ToonZ - The Gift of Christmas chp 1December was a most joyful time of year in South California. The sun was bright, just as the lights going up on the houses in neighbourhoods were. People seemed a little kinder; although shopping malls were filled to the brim with shoppers and retail workers grumped a little more often.
The drop in temperature not only meant the holidays were around the corner, but it also meant that school closure was as well.
And not only humans were getting ready for Christmas or Hanukah; animation studios across Los Angeles were already releasing holiday specials. Disney and Warner Brothers being two of the most competitive ones. It was a festive time as much as it was a time to celebrate rivalries—whichever cartoon hit the television sets first won the race.
But aside from the coming of his favorite time of year, nothing of that sort was on Ashton Bunny’s mind; especially what True Toons like his father were up to. This would be his very first Christmas in the city, the first Christmas
Money and Kilts“I got one! I got a silver dollar!”
“The best catch of the day.”
“Can I keep it?”
The Scotsman laughed sarcastically and raised an eyebrow. “Nice try, Lad; we’re playin’ catch-and-release,” he reminded the boy.
Dudley wrinkled his bill and tossed his catch back over the side of the balcony. The silver coin caught the light as it fell downward, like a firefly, and then the vault chimed with the sound of it landing against its fellow coins and jewels. The thirteen-year-old watched as it fell and then looked up at his great uncle when the soft cling resounded around them. The multi-billionaire had his eyes closed and a smile spread over his lips once the ringing had died away. The old duck laughed childishly and adjusted his pince-nez glasses. “Ah just love that sound,” he said. “Absolutely beautiful.”
Dudley recast his fishing line over the balcony where he and his uncle sat, their feet hanging ove
The Finale's Prologue Ch 2The Finale's Prologue
I do not own Batman, Alfred, or any other named character here. They belong to DC Comics. This was written purely for fun.
Through the empty halls of the Wayne Manor came the steady sound of footsteps, echoing off the walls and ringing through the air beneath its high ceilings. Alfred Pennyworth stepped into the oversized living room, eyeing one of the large windows as he walked by. The night sky was pitch black out there, away from the city streets and the glow of Gotham.
Alfred blinked dully and looked to the grandfather clock against the wall across the room. 1:28 AM. It was going to be another long night
The butler approached the clock and tugged on one of the cable pulleys. The back of the antique opened up and revealed a darkened hallway beyond the walls. He stepped through the clock and into the drastically darker environment. Once the
Snow Day The air was serene, something that the streets of Gotham never allowed for. Technically still within the city limits, the forest of pine and oak trees stood. The fir and leaves were covered with the white powder that continued to fall from the heavens, coating the ground. The usual noise that came from such a large metropolis was absent, replaced with the soft sound of snowfall. All else was silent, leaving the forest in a peaceful slumber.
The quiet was interrupted when the soft crunching of snow began to sound. They were coming in rapid progression, signifying someone moving at a quick pace.
"Hurry, Jonathan!" Jervis Tetch called over his shoulder as he ran up the inclined plane. His breath became visible as it hit the frigid air. His heavy snow boots continued to crunch the freshly fallen snow. His blue overcoat ended just above where the snow began. A stray breeze rustled his teal and blue-green checkered scarf before he brought
Fear and Madness - Epilogue 'You can do this,' he kept telling himself. 'You can do this '
Lord, how his nerves were shot. Jonathan Crane stood on the doorstep of Jervis Tetch's current house, as he had been for the past ten minutes, simply staring at the threshold with discouraged eyes, wringing his hands together nervously.
He heaved a tired sigh as he turned to leave again. He hadn't taken more than three steps before he came to a stop, frustrated and embarrassed by his own cowardice. 'It's just Jervis, for Christ's sake!' he scolded himself internally. He turned back around, giving the threshold an offended and angry look. He marched to the doorstep with new purpose, but with each step forward, his confidence dissolved. He found himself staring at the door again.
With a disgruntled growl, he ran a hand through his auburn hair. He rubbed the back of his stiff neck with a thin hand. He hadn't slept a wink the night before. Instead, he
